Uncover medieval madness and hair-raising rides with our CAO

11th October 2018

Back in the summer we set our Chief Adventure Officer the challenge of fitting in two attractions in two days. He started his trip travelling from Scarborough to Warwick, which saved him over £30 on his train travel and then a further £28 by getting 2FOR1 on his attraction entry through daysoutguide.co.uk.

During their trip Jacob and his friend, Katie, enjoyed learning about the castle’s medieval history, archery, sword fighting and more.

From 20th October until 4th November Warwick Castle will come alive with wondrous witches, Horrible Histories and fearsome attractions during its biggest event haunted castle event.

If a hunted castle isn’t enough of a hair-raising experience for you then check out some of the thrilling rides they experienced at Thorpe Park. Travelling from Warwick to Staines using his Railcard, meant Jacob was able to save an additional £20 on his rail fare. The money he saved on rail travel for his whole journey more than covered the cost for his accommodation and other expenses.

You can find out what’s happening at Thorpe Park this Halloween here.

Overall Jacob saved £149 on his trip to Warwick Castle and Thorpe Park, so what are you waiting for. Start planning and start saving on fun days out across Britain today.
