Sophie WilkinsonI love how a couple of trips on the train with you deducted railcard price can straight away cancel out the money that you spent on getting the railcard, I love how you see the massive reduction in price every time you use your railcard, I love how having the railcard makes me worry less about the cost of the train travel which allows me to travel anywhere to see friends and family, I love how I will be able to have a railcard for 5 years to come which will save me hundreds of pounds which I can now spend on shopping - only joking! I love how young people are able to get it as it makes rail travel affordable and a quick way to travel - I love it!! |

Vivien LuWhat I love about my 16-25 railcard is that from one flash of the card I instantly get given a 1/3 off my travel fare... along side this... having the 16-25 railcard means I can afford to get more train journeys everywhere... for example to London to see my friends. Without my railcard I'd be a lost sheep! It's so useful! I don't think I'd manage to see so many gigs/concerts/nights out without my card as travelling costs a lot without it & not having to rely on parents for lifts! One special thing is that I can always afford to go to the bigger cities to go shopping as I can get way cheaper train tickets! One last note is that the railcard always gives me an excuse for going out all the time as my mom doesn't like me wasting money! & so to my mom, the railcard is a saver for sure! So whether I go partying, shopping or seeing family, my parents do not mind for sure now! For now, it's definitely a free pass! So thank you 16-25 RAILCARD for giving me the best time of my life!!! |

Florence BattersbyIt is so unbelievably useful having a 16-25 railcard. Having just graduated I am constantly travelling trying to pursue a career in acting. Also having made so many friends at University, I often like to visit them all, any chance I get. It is such a luxury getting discount as train prices are so expensive. I sometimes can even afford to travel first class with my railcard because it is so cheap. It makes me feel very grand indeed, I am dreading when I turn 25 as I know my amazing travelling days at decent prices will die out. Now all I can do is live life to the full, and travel whenever I get the chance, thanks to my railcard. |

Matt HenryNot only does my railcard make commuting to my job as a Stage Manager in a West End Theatre much cheaper, it saves me money in my leisure time too... as someone who loves to explore London, the list of 2 for 1 offers, cheap theatre tickets and restaurant deals makes it unbelievable that not everybody has one!?! The cheap cost of one can be saved easily within a week or even on a rail journey and then you can just reap the benefits...! |

James GoodmanLiving in London it's important to get out into the countryside! The free YHA membership available with the 16-25 Railcard gives me great accommodation all around the country. Even better a third off rail travel gives me the cheapest and most efficient way of getting there! Better still by bringing my bike on the train I have free transport once I arrive, whether it's a week in Cornwall or a weekend in the South Downs. |
