Price Changes from 17 May 2009
- The price of 16-25, Family & Friends and Senior Railcards will increase from £24 to £26 (1 year cards).
- 3 year card is still only £65 - a massive £13 saving.
Minimum Fare Changes from 17 May 2009
- Minimum fares for 16-25 Railcard will change from £8 + £16 to a £12 minimum fare for Single & Return tickets before 10:00am Monday to Friday.
- 16-25 minimum fares will not apply to Advance fares.
- Note: 16-25 minimum fare does not apply on public holidays or throughout July and August
New Benefits from 17 May 2009
16-25 Railcard discounts on First Class Advance fares
- 16-25 Railcard holders will get 1/3 off ALL First Class Advance fares from 17 May 2009.
Railcard discounts on Anytime Day Travelcards
- All 16-25 Railcard holders will get 1/3 off Anytime Day Travelcards (Zones 1 - 6) for journeys starting outside the London Travelcard zones.
- A £14.80 minimum adult fare applies to Railcard discounted Anytime Day Travelcards (Zones 1 - 6).
- No discounts are available on Anytime Day Travelcards issued for journeys wholly within London Zones 1-6.
- Existing Railcard conditions apply and discounts will be subject to any time restrictions that apply to the Railcard, for instance restrictions on travel on week day mornings in the London & South East area.
- Existing Railcard discounts on Off-Peak Day Travelcards (Zones 1-6) still apply.
